Our Band Together Rockstar of the Week is none other than the fantastic Lee Whitman. Lee has done it all for Band Together in his 10-year tenure. From volunteering to leading as our Board President to now serving on the board of directors, he is a true rockstar and an incredible brand ambassador to Band Together. Thank you for all your support, Lee!

Name: Lee M. Whitman

Guilty Pleasure Song: “Sweet Caroline”, Neil Diamond

Fun Fact: First love was Olivia Newton-John, as Sandy Olsen in the movie Grease.

How did you get involved with Band Together? "I was President of the Board of Directors at SAFEchild when we were selected as Band Together’s non-profit partner back in 2008. I was very impressed with everyone at BT during that partnership year and later called BT founder Danny Rosin to express interest in getting involved on the BT side of things. Danny quickly put me to work volunteering in just about every possible role at BT, after which I was on the VIP committee, chaired the VIP committee, worked on the Steering Committee, joined the Advisory Board, and later was elected to the Board of Directors, serving as President of the Board from 2015-17. When I roll off the Board in the fall of 2018 it will complete a solid 10 years with Band Together - I am sincerely thankful for all of the friends and family I have made at BT along the way and could not be more proud of what BT has done to positively impact our community."
